Big City...Beer Budget

"Being debt free is better than spending feels." This blog will follow the ups and downs of living on a beer budget ($40,000/year) in Ottawa. I am a 20-something girl who came out of 2 degrees with $33,000 in student loans. Through dedication and hard work that was paid off in less than a year and I now own a home. Staff Getaway

Yesterday morning I my colleagues and I arrived at Calabogie, a ski/golf resort about an hour West of Ottawa for off-site meetings, planning for the next fiscal year, and a bit of team building.

Yesterday our team broke off in the afternoon and skied, snowboarded, or snowshoed. It was fantastic getting out for some fresh air out of the office. I did end up spending a bit of money on water and snacks on the ski hill.
